Agreed to play this Tynecastle side made up mainly of 1994 players. However this side had an excellent season last season and recently beat a decent u-19 side 5-1 and drew 0-0 also with another u-19 side.

Played 3 x 30 mins. Every player played at least 40 mins. 0-0 after first 30 mins but Tynecastle rarely got into the home sides half.

2nd 30 mins saw us score 3 goals and put the game to bed. Fraser Currie playing a through ball for Steven Hay to finish well. Two further goals were from a Blair McGegor throw-in and a Conor McKay free kick which were flicked on before the finish. Callan Phillips with the first header to make it 2-0 and Mark Byrne with a header making it 3-0.

3rd period finished 0-0. In the end though a decent shift against a well organised team that continually played football.

Ross McIness again played well, Steven Hay's pace getting us in behind after neat build up, clean sheet for GK Dickson, Fraser Currie's determination in m/f led to the breakthrough and a debut goal for Mark Byrne. MOM though to Blair McGregor, fit from start to finish, won headers, tackled well and always looking to support the m/field.

All played well and followed instructions. However need to continue to work on pre season fitness.
